Another Magic Carpet
Here at Table Mountain we are dedicated to making your experience and enjoyable one, that is why we installed a second Magic Carpet lift to our facility this year. In addition to the first Magic Carpet on the Bunny Hill, our second carpet was installed to replace our old cable tow that was used for the tubing park. The new carpet will now be dual purpose, for those on the tubing park as well as the skiers/snowboarders that like to 'hike' the terrain park. Now they will be able to ride the terrain park and hit the features they want time and time again, without having to walk up the hill or stand in line at the chairlift. Consequently this will also take away some of the lineup at the chairlift on those busy days so that others wanting to ride the rest of the hill will not have such a large lineup.
Some information on the Magic Carpet:
- Our new Magic Carpet is 630 feet long!
- Is run by a 40hp electric motor
- Is made and shipped in pieces from Denver, CO.
- Has a newer style 'belt' on it to improve traction on those snowy/slippery days
